Cuba is fertile ground for some of the world’s funnest baseball and finest players. Kids grow up using a plastic bottle cap for a ball that they ‘snap flick’ to the batter across the street. Broomsticks, and sticks of all sorts, make the bats that develop some of the sport’s finest eye-hand coordination and batting skills.
